Zuru Tech Italy believes in the individual responsibility of each team member and in the autonomous management of one's own time.
The working hours fall within the range of 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM, from Monday to Friday, without monitoring clock in, clock out and breaks during the workday
With a core time from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, Monday through Friday. This is considered mandatory presence time for everyone (both at home and in the office), except when on vacation or leave or for other justified absences.
Everyone can independently organize considering the company's needs, team activities, and responsibilities related to their role. Note that 40 hours per week are stipulated by the National Collective Labor Agreement (CCNL). For example, it is possible to work 10 hours one day and 6 hours the next, respecting the core time (10:00 AM–12:00 PM).
Flexible hours do not apply to those with part-time employment, who, in any percentage, adhere to the working hours specified in their employment contract.
According to the Consolidated Text on Safety, it is necessary to take a 15-minute break every 2 hours from the computer screen. During the computer screen break, individuals are required to engage in other work activities that do not involve screen usage.
Lunch breaks can be organized freely. It is also essential, for rejuvenation, to take a break of at least 30 minutes after six continuous working hours.
Each team leader is responsible for the optimal management of their team.
Every team member can communicate their availability using the Outlook calendar. Additionally, the team leader has the authority to set a team core time, during which team members must be available.
We recommend scheduling meetings within the time range of 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (with the last meeting starting at 4:00 PM).
Meetings must be communicated through the calendar at least 24 hours in advance of the event. Each person can respond with “yes,” “no,” or “maybe.” Anyone not responding to the invitation will be counted as a meeting participant, as it is crucial to check the company email and respond to the invitation.
All meetings that adhere to these criteria (time range: 9:00 AM — 5:00 PM, communication with 24 hours' notice) are mandatory. If one does not attend, the rules for the company core time apply. If a meeting is scheduled outside the established time frame or is not communicated with at least 24 hours notice, invitees can choose whether to participate or not.
To ensure effective communication within the flex time policy and set appropriate expectations during periods of absence, it is important to properly utilize the out-of-office and status message features in Outlook and Microsoft Teams.
