At ZURU Tech we recognize that continuous learning and professional development are crucial for staying competitive in the rapidly evolving tech industry. Our training policy is designed to support employees in enhancing their skills, knowledge, and abilities, ensuring they remain adaptable and innovative.
Training proposals can originate from two sources:
- From the company, typically following a needs analysis conducted at the HR level
- From the team member, who can propose individual training programs.
ZURU Tech will fully cover training activities proposed by the company. If these activities involve travel (within Italy or abroad), the current ZURU Tech policy on the specific topic will apply.
Additionally, we allocated a budget for training proposals submitted by team members, subject to supervisor approval and HR approval.
We encourage everyone (Team Leaders, buddies, and team members) to create opportunities for mutual discussions, as well as share resources (videos, books, ebooks, webinar recordings). The HR team will support all team members in defining individual development plans.
Operational Guidelines
- Training proposals can be submitted by team members who have passed their probation period or fixed-term contract at ZURU Tech.
- When a team member requests training from the company, they must submit a request specifying:
- The reason for the request (strengths, connection with their work and the company strategy, assessment of the training's impact on the individual and company goals, skill gaps to be filled, etc.);
- Training costs;
- Delivery method (asynchronous online/synchronous online/in-person);
- Course program
- Once the training program is completed, we ask the employee to produce a brief document (Word, video, PowerPoint, etc.) to share feedback on the value added, also for knowledge transfer with their team and/or other colleagues, or to be added to ZURU School website.
- In the case of conferences, for any travel and accommodation expenses, the HR team will provide the most appropriate solution.
Cost Management and Reimbursement Policy
For training proposals submitted by team members and approved by the HR team, ZURU Tech will cover 50% of the proposal costs, with an annual cap of €700 per team member.
Practical examples:
- If a training proposal costs €600 and is approved, ZURU will pay €300.
